Long time, no post… I’ve been meaning to, I swear!

Last few weeks I’ve been working to setup a Mystic BBS server and it’s finally on a FIDO style net (fsxnet - nothing to do with FSX, the flight sim).

You can get to it here: 404.bgall.uk, ports 8888 for telnet, or 8889 for SSH - be a pro and use SSH.

I’m still needing to make some edits and make it “mine”, it’s currently just the default skin.

I think these kind of communities will become more and more important again as we get more divided by social media and the algorithms that drive them. Feeding us hate to feed off our attention.

As we march towards the dead internet, powered by AI slop, we may still have little paradises and bastions of community still left… maybe.

This is all locally hosted, so if it’s down, it’s probably because I’ve broken something, or the house is on fire or something.
